Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toniz Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the United States as well as Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She works for ESPN and is the SportsCenter News Anchor. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual from her age of nine. Her ability was crucial in helping her land her first position as producer assistant at Univision Miami, where she was a producer of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. The next position she was offered was reporter for sports at The CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009, she moved to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In 2009, she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. She would also fill in on occasion as a weather and sports anchor. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's affiliate station in Dallas. In that station, she was given greater accountability. She was a reporter for events like the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. She was the producer of Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra as anchor. The show was promoted to be anchor of the sports segment for Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She held the same position as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo for the UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. In Mexico City she was conceived on November 22nd 1985. She has an older sister. The family relocated to Miami after moving from Mexico to the US. Within a brief time her father separated from her mother. She was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. In the summer in 2006 she spent one week with her sibling in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. Antonietta still a senior at high school, yet she knew exactly what career path she wanted to pursue. So while assessing if Mount Union is the right choice for her, Antonietta visited the university. At the end of the day she fell in love with the university. And they offered her the opportunity to study a major. When she completed her high school education, she attended the university to study media studies. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the director for WRMU 91.1 FM, of which she was an affiliate. He inspired her to have confidence and his passion for journalism deeply affected her. She determined to fulfill the expectations of him and not let him down.
